May Read-A-Thon

Our May Read-A-Thon is almost here! Permission forms have been sent home, with information about the book recycling program, and a request for parent volunteers. The Read-A-Thon is an event used to promote literacy among young students and their families. Each Friday, we will have the reading buddies program which pairs up older and younger students to read together for 20 minutes. While there is a fund raising aspect to the Read-A-Thon, it is certainly not mandatory. All money raised is used to benefit our students and school in various ways.
