St. Simon is going Paperless!
To reduce the number of photocopied paper produced each month, we will only produce paper copies of the school’s newsletter, calendar, and notices and other information not requiring parent permission by request only. Any information requiring parental permission such as trips and extra-curricular activities will be sent home with your child. Please consider joining our school’s email distribution list by sending an email to Laurienne.graham@tcdsb.org. The monthly newsletter and calendar will then be sent electronically. Please note that all emails to parents are sent as a blind carbon copy (Bcc) to protect your privacy. Checking our school blog between newsletters is also an effective way to keep up with current activities.
Please complete the form below if you would like to continue receiving paper copies of the school’s newsletter, calendar and other information/notices. This form needs to be completed and returned by Friday, January 18, 2013 to receive paper copies of the school’s newsletter and calendar in February.

WATER....OUR GIFT ......OUR RESPONSIBILITY......OUR OPPORTUNITY
The
Toronto Catholic District School Board is promoting the elimination
of the sale and distribution of bottled water in all of its schools,
offices and at off-site events, when tap water is available.
This
idea was born out of a student-lead, social justice initiative
brought to the attention of the Board of Trustees and passed at
its meeting on April 20, 2011.
A
letter and pamphlet, explaining this initiative, will be included in
our newsletter next month. In the meantime, click on the link below
and you can see the video prepared by our students leaders.

Together,
we can apply our Catholic social teachings and live out our values by
supporting this initiative.
